The FIRST Communities In Schools of New Jersey Mentoring Success Center Scholars.

This committed group graduated from the Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC / Fordham University Mentoring Supervisor Certificate Program in New York City On Friday January 9, 2009. Each scholar traveled from Newark to NYC for 16 consecutive weeks of college level classes in Mentoring! These are our heroes!

The next class of 11 CISNJ mentoring scholars began on January 28, 2009. We are encouraged by these organizations dedicated to building their capacity to serve the children and families of Newark.

This diverse class represented over 20 mentoring organizations in New York and New Jersey. The graduation was held at the JP Morgan Chase building in midtown Manhattan.
