Comedian Continues Tradition of Mentoring Fatherless Children

Comedian, Radio Host and New York Times Best Selling Author Steve Harvey put his money where his heart is this Fathers Day. He hosted a Mentoring Weekend for 100 young ment from across the country that are being raised without a father in the home. This powerful initiative allowed these young men the opportuity to spend a weekend with accomplished and in many cases famous African American men from many fields.

"The fun stuff is just to trick them that they're here to have fun," he said. The kids also got a live history lesson on a visit to a flight school where they met the first black airline pilot and a Tuskegee airman. Harvey's goal? To teach the kids to aim high.
