Newark Mentoring Professionals graduate from BBBS of NYC Fordham Mentoring Supervisor Certificate Program in NYC

This is the second group, 14 graduates in total, of Newark based Mentoring Scholars sponsored by Communities In Schools of NJ with support from the Nicholson Foundation, to graduate in 2009. (Click to see January 2009 graduates) This group of dedicated and passionate staff, administrators and youth advocates traveled from Newark New Jersey to New York, New York once a week for 16 weeks in order to build their professional skill sets and build the capacity of their organizations Mentoring initiatives. We applaud them for their efforts. We look forward, in a partnership with BBBS of NYC, Fordham University and Rutgers University - Newark, to bringing this extraordinary training to Newark in late 2009!
